Aquarium of the Pacific

Venture behind the scenes and go above their largest exhibit, Tropical Reef, to feed the fish! This tour provides a sneak peek into the daily operations of the Aquarium of the Pacific. Guests will enter the “wet side” of the aquarium, a section not normally open to the public. See what it takes to maintain a world class aquarium, from water filtration to animal care and feeding. Real World Work Out
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at Noon, $10/workout, meet at Hans Christian Andersen Park.
No gym. No membership. No gimmicks. Just you and nature. Get a great workout outside using nature's playground as your gym and motivator. Run trails, climb hills, lift rocks, perform calisthenics and more. Workout to last approximately 60 minutes. You be both exhausted and exhilarated.

Valley Dog Training with Instructor Sarah Houchens
Teach your dog how to behave in the human world using positive reinforcement training techniques. Your pup will learn basic obedience; sit, down, stay, come, leave it and how to walk on a leash without pulling. A group class creates the perfect environment for learning how to listen in distracting environments, as well as proper socialization, including polite greetings and play. Class also includes learning how to problem solve behaviors such as barking, jumping and mouthing.

Bring to class:
Small soft treats, vaccination records* (DHPP-V, bordetella, and Rabies), and your dog on a flat collar or harness and regular 4-6' long leash (No choke chains, prong collars, or retractable leashes).
*Puppy class- puppies must have at least the first 2 boosters of DHPP-V series. They do not need the rabies vaccine to begin class, but must bring records once the vaccine has been received.
Optional, but recommended:
Treat pouch, a favorite toy, and a towel or dog bed (some activities are done sitting on the ground).
You'll be standing for most of the class. Please wear close-toed, comfortable shoes.
