Roadway Closures Due to Storm Event
Due to the extreme weather event over the last 48-hours there have been several roadway closures in the City.
- Mission Drive is closed at Alamo Pintado Road due to Alamo Pintado Creek flowing over the roadway at approximately 7:00 PM last night. The intersection of Alamo Pintado Road and Mission Drive was also flooded at that time. There is still mud and debris in the roadway and the City is working with Caltrans to clear the road.
2. Fredensborg Canyon Road is currently closed to through traffic due to a mud slide blocking the roadway. City crews are currently working to clear the roadway. The roadway will be opened up once the roadway is cleared, and can be deemed safe for all vehicles.
3. South Alisal Road will remain closed south of the Santa Ynez River Bridge until further notice due to flooding and debris in the roadway.
Please obey all temporary traffic control and roadway closures and remain safe during this time. We will reopen the roadways as soon as we are able.
