South Alisal Road Closed to Through Traffic and lane restrictions installed.
Due to the recent heavy rains and creek flows, the banks along the Alisal Creek have washed out in various locations along the creek. One of these washout locations may have compromised the edge of Alisal Road. City Public Works Crews will be assessing this location in the near future to determine the appropriate repair, however access is currently not possible due to the current heavy flows through the creek. City Public Works crews have installed temporary traffic control to keep people away from the roadway edge. Also, out of abundance of caution, South Alisal Road has been closed to through traffic south of the River Bridge until further notice. The City urges all drivers to drive slowly and safely along this section of roadway if you must access this roadway for any reason.
